Put it this way: If you liked shiny things and explosions in “Transformers”, this is sort of like that, only to keep it in respect of the classic board/travel game, the fight is at sea, supposedly. Also if you like Rihanna and would like to see how she acts: this is the film to see.

Starring also Taylor Kitsch as Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper’s older brother, Commanding Officer Stone of the USS Samson and the awesome Liam Neeson Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane, the Peter Berg-directed movie shows the fight against aliens across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force.

Whilst a 20-second ad was released prior to Super Bowl, an extended 1-minute trailer was actually shown amongst live television, and the trailer did not fail to impress. Showing new scenes and characters gradually interacting, the Avengers (consisting superheroes of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye) are up against unexpected enemies that emerge and threaten global safety and security. Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

It’s a definite watch and one trailer that has us anticipating more than ever. Opening 4th May this year and directed by Joss Whedon, “The Avengers” stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L. Gucci Mane has been going and in out of Jail in the last two or three years but every time he goes in and comes out his music gets better and better each time. Every Song on the Mixtape is Solid and you’ll find one that is your favorite, this is probably the 1st Gucci Mane projects I’ve listened to from front to back. He has features from 2 Chainz, Waka Flocka, Future, Yo Gotti, Rocko, JadaKiss and Chilly Chill with production from Mike Will, Sonny Digital, Zaytoven, Lex Lugar, Drumma Boy, KE On the Track and Southside. We mentioned it before and this is personally speaking; Big K.R.I.T. is one artist (and most likely the only artist this year) who we are hoping good things from. “Boobie Miles” shows a bit of promise regards to what this artist is capable of, and judging by previous material that K.R.I.T. has provided he should be an instant classic upon his official debut. That is, if Def Jam let him continue to do what he do.

The film includes a somewhat unique cast, starring the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Wes Bentley, Toby Jones, Alexander Ludwig, Isabelle Fuhrman, Amandla Stenberg, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland. In the film, evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games in the ruins of what was once North America. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.

Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss (Lawrence) is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy (Harrelson). If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

In a sense, think “Battle Royale”. The movie itself is likely to be the next trilogy to look out for, so checkout the trailer below and let us know if “The Hunger Games”, released 23rd March this year, is one movie you’ll be keeping an eye on:

This is probably the shortest article I have done yet, but it is simply a freestyle, it is Common, so there is not much more needed to be said. Checkout the track below and let us know your thoughts – BlackBerry needed? Or not really?

Reported via Wired as well as trending on Twitter, creator Len Wein spoke about the project, quoted to have said: “Essentially, we’re looking at old characters through new eyes. What we’re doing is filling in a lot of the blank spaces in a story that has already, to some degree, been told.”

“There were still a lot of gaps in the histories of Watchmen’s characters,” he continues, “and events only mentioned in passing or touched on briefly in the original story. We’re filling in those gaps in the most creative and inventive ways we can.”

The announcement of prequel comics is likely to be treated then as a “Watchmen” prequel movie, with DC already rebooting everything about themselves, this is an opportunity for them to expand on the popular franchise in the way they want to show it.

Whilst Len Wein will write the Ozymandias series (one of several character-specific mini-series to be released, image above), it is confirmed that original creator and comic-book legend Alan Moore will not be involved at all with the project. Moore turned down DC’s offer, confirming that that the series would have been offered back to him personally if he “would agree to some dopey prequels and sequels.”

Many fans of the artist and the “Watchmen” franchise itself will not be too fond of the news either, suggesting that the so-called “gaps” in the story are what help make it enjoyable. Nonetheless this has all lead to suggestions Alan Moore will not take this lightly against the DC executives.

“Before Watchmen” comics are set for a summer release, be sure to check back here around Christmas time for us to confirm in slight disappointment of a movie. Overall, let us know your thoughts.
