Though I can’t really stand the guy anymore, P Diddy has achieved much in his life. However his story/career in rap has been heavily lamented over the loss of friend and co rap aritst, The Notorious B.I.G. Recently, Diddy revealed during a press conference in Paris somewhere (video below for full watch) how one of his biggest regrets was not pushing Biggie handle business overseas in the UK.

Quoted saying: “Probably the only regret that does haunt me was the night that Biggie got killed. … He was supposed to go to London for a promo tour, and he had talked me into letting him stay in L.A., that’s, like, a regret that I have, just not forcing him to get on the plane.”

In the video he also talks about the new ‘super-group’ recently formed known as “Supreme Team”, check out what he had to say

Also, whilst speaking with BBC News, he had few positive things to say regards to the Hip Hop scene in the UK, saying the rappers here are likely able to break into the US charts.
Worked already with the likes of recently Roc Nation signed artist Tinchy Stryder, Tinie Tempah and Skepta, Diddy has said that he has been a fan of grime since he first heard it years ago.

He told BBC News: “I’ve always been abreast and respected the UK hip-hop scene and I look forward to great things. I think in the past maybe some of the UK hip-hop artists weren’t as authentic to where they come from. It’s all right to be from the UK and it’s all right to talk about what you want to talk about and not try to sound or be like somebody from the US.”

“There is now a self-pride in UK hip-hop. That’s the starting point. Hip-hop respects something that’s authentic. Just like the way in the US it took time for the south and the west coast to break, it’s the same thing and I just think that UK hip-hop is on the verge of breaking.”

About RamZ

You may know me from nowhere, and that's okay. Along with helping expand the interest in ' The Epic Network', the sister site of 'The Koalition', I am also a lyricist, a trainee in Capoeira, fan in both movies and music itself with a hint of gaming, snowboarder, Graphic Design student (in training or not, I'll let my work decide) and um...errm...hmm...guess you could say a somewhat decent dude. That again depends on so and so. If you have an urge to contact me regards to the site, or above interest, or anything other than to say I suck, feel free to via rameez@theepicnetwork.com
