Police Man Stops JME And Then Recognizes Who He Is

For anyone following JME on Twitter or Youtube, you’ll know that lately he has been stopped by police literally around 50 times. However this time instead of the incident leading to an argument (like in this vid) the Police man recognized JME and showed him love.

We’re not sure how serious we’re meant to take this song, but we like Skepta, hence the post. It’s clear the techno/dance fad is ruling the UK airwaves right now, and everything is being geared towards the club goer. I’m sure this song sounds excellent in the club, but I hope we hear some more well rounded music from Skepta and the Boy Betta Know camp in 2012.

Months back, Diddy asked the UK fans Who should do a Grime remix of Hello Good Morning, because the track itself just sucks. Fans voted Skepta, the two traded talks, and now the Grime remix is finally in sound, and just few hours back after its play on Kiss FM it has now been uploaded like crazy across YouTube and other sites. So here at Epic Network, its only fair we do the same.

Whilst I dislike Diddy with a passion, I give certain props here and there to the Grime scene and Skepta himself, and he actually makes this track a lot better, proving just why he’s majorly talked about in the genre.

As this site is used to partly help out MC’s who are upcoming or simply deserve recognition, I feel I should help out a friend of mine deserve his fair share of appreciation (only because, I don’t have nothing yet).

Jammz simply put: an uber talented MC/Music Producer. Stays true to Grime roots whilst delivering raw lyrics and great beats. The mixtape itself sounds like a fully published album, and at 19 He’s got alot to say and definitely much to provide.

Checkout his music below, I recommend tracks 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 18. In general, I recommend the whole album.

Skepta Performs At 50 Cent Before I Self Destruct Tour

Over a week ago me and my good friend and business partner Ruthlesskid attended the 50 Cent Before I Self Destruct tour in Wembley London. Skepta was one of the opening acts. We managed to get some footage, I recorded the whole Skepta set. I managed to get some footage of 50 but the security told me to turn off my camera so I couldn’t get too much. I will post the 50 footage soon, so look out for that.

Here is the full 10 minute Skepta set, in which he performed some of his most popular records. He even brung out some of the Boy Betta Know camp to perform Too Many Man. Also check out my interview with Skepta here.

Here is a new music video from the Boy Betta Know camp. The song is by JME Ft Wiley and it’s called Sidetracked. Automatically when I saw the title I thought of the Joe Budden track, but this is something completely different, and I like it (even though I don’t like UK heads using autotune). The song will be released February 21st (which is a long way away from now, too much time for it to get bootlegged). Make sure you go out and support UK music.
