The panel blew away the audience at Comic-Con with some footages of the movie and the trailer actually does not disappoint. As promised: A mostly female cast (Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Carla Gugino) facing off against Dragons, Samurais and crazy action to which in the hands of Zack Snyder, will look absolutely epic. Plot: Set in the 1950s, Sucker Punch follows Babydoll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.

First up of my favourite news, a new trailer for ‘Let Me In’, the American remake of the Swedish horror success ‘Let The Right One In’, which stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Moretz, Richard Jenkins, Elias Koteas, Cara Buono, Sasha Barrese. Directed by Matt Reeves.

If you never watched the original (which was only a year ago) the plot goes: A terrifying tale of an alienated 12-year old boy named Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) who is viciously bullied by his classmates and neglected by his divorcing parents. Achingly lonely, Owen spends his days plotting revenge on his middle school tormentors and his evenings spying on the other inhabitants of his apartment complex. His only friend is his new neighbor Abby (Chloe Moretz), an eerily self-possessed young girl who lives next door with her silent father (Oscar nominee Richard Jenkins). A frail, troubled child about Owen’s age, Abby emerges from her heavily curtained apartment only at night and always barefoot, seemingly immune to the bitter winter elements. Recognizing a fellow outcast, Owen opens up to her and before long, the two have formed a unique bond.

Unique bond of DEATH!! Fans at Comic-Con were treated to a footage of the movie and got a positive feedback from the crowd, and I have no doubt this will be a horror film worth watching in a long time. Checkout the new trailer below:

The Tron Legacy panel were on show at Comic-Con, and people in attendance were lucky enough to see 8 minutes of never before seen clip of the movie. Whilst we can’t give any personal experience details (I am typing this with a sad face), reports from Totalfilm.com say: “this is as slick as it gets. Presented in full-on 3D, the footage had the fanboy inside of us screaming and jumping around like one of those magnetic jeallybeans. Paired with Daft Punk’s tremendous pulsating score, it’s a wonder we didn’t bust a rib in excitement.”

I guess we’ll have to wait December to truly experience that. In the meantime checkout the new trailer below:

If I’m guessing right, this movie was shown at the recent Sundance Festival earlier in the year and got a lot of positive feedback from the direction to the performance itself. It looks pretty intriguing if that is the case, as the film I think is shot throughout in the coffin to which Ryan Reynolds is struggling to get out from.

If that is also the case I can imagine a lot of people not wanting to watch this solely because there is no patience in the world anymore. People will be irritated and believe nothing is happening and eventually come out of the movie saying “It was crap, NOTHING HAPPENED”…exactly those words, trust me.

I kid about Justin Timberlake, he looks surprisingly like a cross between Harold Ramis and Ryan Phillipe in this movie though…not sure who else I could’ve said.

I like how the names are simple and caveman-like. “ugh! you! Driver!” “UURRRGH, ME KILLA”. Looks interesting nonetheless, and we’ll have hopefully some more updates for you in the future telling.
