Yes, of course this has been out for awhile and we are probably reporting this late, but the weekends are my day off dammit. Nonetheless the image looks interesting as well as Tom Hardy definitely putting on the pounds/stones to look the part. The grim look helps making the image look a little more sinister, but that mask is a little off putting in my view. Course, any Bane mask will unfortunately make him look a bit like a gimp, which cannot be helped there. Still, good stuff!

Then they released a photo of what Wonder Woman will look like, to which they gave her leggings. That and also Adrianne Palicki looked embarrassed herself wearing the suit. It looked like a cheap Halloween costume. At this point you’d have thought NBC will rethink their plans with the already negative response.

NOPE! They instead started filming, and released photos of Adrianne Palicki donning the suit and doing the infamous run? where the “upper chest” area “jiggles”? Where really all thhttp://www.theepicnetwork.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpe photos seem to prove is that you’re being chased by a die-hard Cosplayer after you stole her lasso of truth made out of dental floss. She falls over too, oh the ditz, but not before she too falls into the trap of pulling off a blue steel pose constantly.

I get the feeling NBC WANT THIS TO FAIL, partly because the new president of the motion picture group at Warner Bros., Jeff Robinov, has stated his first priority is to make a Justice League movie happen, thus bringing a Flash plus Wonder Woman movie a life (whilst also rebooting Batman again once it is done). Also, people have been going on about wanting to see Wonder Woman again and I feel NBC are I dunno…sexist? Thus ultimately thinking “no woman can be a superhero, they all act like this” to which is their ‘vision’ of Wonder Woman.

I’m surprised she is able to keep on clothes, what with her constant leaks of nudity and crazed sex…thing? I think in general she alone should have a ban of just not wearing anything. Ever. She would not seem to mind if that was the case.

Not only that, but “ET” (Entertainment Tonight) have seemingly been dry humping the franchises leg in recent months and keep gaining exclusive clips here and there, this one of an extended trailer from the Superbowl spot released earlier in the months . You get to see a few more extra clips, and the transformation of Chris Evans from a weedy man to a chunky freak.

Well now the few images below show of this actually being a reality – but in webisode form. Director Kevin Tancharoen, who is known for mainly being a dynamic director on MTV shows, was the man who created the short “Mortal Kombat: Rebirth” which featured Michael Jai White as ‘Major Jackson’ Jax Briggs and Jeri Ryan as ‘Lieutenant’ Sonya Blade…and some guy as Scorpion. Via Kevin’s Twitter, those three actors are indeed confirmed again for these webisodes, as well as the images below show off Scorpion, extra characters and a bloody spine, most likely from a ‘fatality’. Smart. Kano is confirmed in the images, played by Darren Shahlavi, and apparently of the female it is only described as “Blue is not Kitana”. Not sure if that is a play with words or what but…its been intriguing.

I’m actually thinking this could be okay, in the previous post I did kind of insult the idea, but being it a complete fan-made theme the possibilities are endless, and there have no doubt been some excellent short movies by fans in the past, such as the 3 minute Street Fighter clip which surfaced online couple of years back displaying Ryu plus Ken in a showdown.

Without any special effects made, that is some impressive make up in my opinion. Looks pretty evil enough. If anybody watches the Superbowl spot ad, there is a quick glimpse of Red Skull in motion, with Hugo ripping his own face off which in fact was the cover up to his real image of what we see in the picture above. Out this summer, 22nd July to be exact, the film focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. The image (now above) shows the certain visual sense Matthew Vaughn is trying to gain and possibly match with Bryan Singer’s ‘X-Men’ collectives he did. It seems the headquarters shows how it all fits into the way Cerebro was designed, later used by Professor Xavier in the original trilogy. Personal opinion, and completely not related to Hellfire Club, I expect a lot of death to make way for Jean Grey and Scott Summers to technically be ‘the first X-Men SEARCHED BY CEREBRO’…anyways…

Furthermore, they have been out for awhile but though I may as well share below two character posters which give more of a background what ‘First Class’ is really all about. Plus, it’s the whole choosing game all over, the good, or the bad. Charles or Erik? Who knows…

The film is set for 3rd June this year, let us know what you think – Class supreme? Or just…bad?

The picture you see above also was simultaneously sent by Columbia showing Andrew Garfield for the first time in full costume (which includes the mask on him). I still kind of like the suit, the image shows off more of its sleek looks as well as noticeable change to the eyes, slanting more than it did for Tobey Maguire’s iconic costume he wore as Spidey. Nonetheless this suit gives off a dark vibe of some sorts and looks all out cool.

“The Amazing” Spider-Man” will take us back to high school days starring Andrew Garfield and (my crush in secret but not so secret now) Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. The film will also star Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. I am kinda looking forward to this now, I dunno how the movie will turn out but Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have proven themselves to be very decent actors plus, its Spider-Man, come on practically everyone’s favourite.

Being shot in 3D the film is set for a 3rd July 2012 release. Let us know your thoughts – Amazing? Or crap?

A bit grainy, but I’m sure you guys will take anything to view. Also provided are shots of the HYDRA troops as well as Hugo Weaving donning the Red Skull act (still in pre-transformation however). Doesn’t look too bad, outlook of this movie is slightly looking interesting.

The issue features a interview with Chris Evans as well as the director Joe Johnston, giving his thoughts of the script as well as playing the star-spangled/studded hero with more comfort to his own self. A snippet of the interview is provided below, where he goes on to say:

“Scripts had been developed that took place half in World War Two, half in the modern day and none of those scripts were particularly successful because the costume ended up overshadowing the man,” says Marvel chief Kevin Feige. “So we finally said, ‘If we could make a Captain America movie any way we wanted to make it, how would we make it?’ Well, we’d set the entire movie in the past, in that period, with all of the Marvel trimmings. And so we made the fun, kick-ass Captain America movie we wanted to.”

“I’ve always loved Raiders and the tone that it had,” says director Joe Johnston. “It was period but didn’t feel like it was made in the period. It felt like a modern-day film about the period, which is what we’re doing on Captain America. It will not feel like a war movie. It’s funny where it needs to be and emotional where it needs to be and serious and full of action.”

And he’s not just an American hero, argues Evans. “I think he’s the ideal human,” says Evans. “Not just American. It’s what being a good person is. Steve’s managed to overcome all the shortcomings he’s had in life and he does what’s good and what he believes is right.”

The cover is pretty badass, though in all honesty I’m more intrigued about the ‘girls from Sucker-Punch’ article from Empire. Nonetheless This is expected to be a huge hit with the development of ‘The Avengers’ movie creeping slowly behind in 2012. Captain America: The First Avenger is set to release 22nd July this year in 2D and 3D. Let us know your thoughts and expectations of the movie in the comments below.

I think that is Andrew Garfield in the costume going psycho on the crane? Not sure, but my opinions have not really changed a little. I do feel Andrew Garfield has the right build as well as having the right looks to pull off being Peter Parker, but I have no positive nor negative view on the reboot of the franchise as a whole at the moment, for at the end of the day I will end up watching it and the film will make loads of money from that effect anyways.

It does seem to feel a little better that we see a few more photos of the movie, however I am still in question as to why no Jean Grey nor Scott Summers? I suppose that the films main focus is on the friendship both Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto, played by Michael Fassbender) and Charles Xavier (Professor X, played by James McAvoy) and how eventually they would be up against each other, but still, having the original X-Men now other than I guess Iceman would have been so much better, Not Scott Summers brother first (Alex Summers AKA Havoc, played by Lucas Till). Despite the pictures, I get the feeling Marvel Studios never got much say regards to character development, like this film will not exactly let characters ‘blossom’ per say and instead we are going to see insane amount of CGI thrown around from left to right with a bit of dialect here and there. I could be wrong, but it does feel a little off…

Also, via ‘Screen Rant’ a James McAvoy interview was made on the topic of X-Men: First Class and his role as Professor X. The full interview can be seen clicking here, though here are some excerpts:

Screen Rant: One thing people are wondering is how Professor X is going to be depicted in terms of combat, as he trained for it in the comics.

James McAvoy: He’s not too combat savvy in this film, it has to be said. He doesn’t do too much, he’s sort of a consultant with the combat guys. But he does get involved in a few little bits of fisticuffs, I wouldn’t say that he comes out well in any of them, but I wouldn’t say that he gets his ass kicked either. Yeah he’s not particularly combat ready.

SR: So it will be more about the mind control.

JM: Yes.

SR: Will he end up in the chair at the end and will he end up bald? Because that is the current rumor.

JM: You’ll have to wait and see, you’ll have to wait and see. It’s actually quite satisfying when you get to say that: ‘I’m not allowed to say.’ Because nobody’s actually told you that you’re not allowed to say, but it’s sort of implied.

SR: Ooooookay. What if anything did you take from Patrick Stewart’s portrayal?

JM: I’ll tell you what I did take – I looked at all of the things that he did the hardest. I looked at all of the things that came out the strongest in his performance and we said we have to go the opposite way. Simply to validate why we were making this film, because if they were just the same there would be no reason to make it, we have to show how different he is. We have to show a journey – so he clearly has to start in a different place.

Set to release on the 3rd of June this year, directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily, Zoe Kravitz and Bill Bilner. Well whatever the thoughts, Lupe Fiasco promised us his next single, ‘Words I Never Said’, will debut with a music video on the 1st February and is said to be his ‘most controversial’ yet. Judging by the teaser trailer below he may be living up to those words, going all out attacking issues of the world left to right. I’m liking the beat mind you, produced by Britains own ‘Alex Da Kid’ who’s gotten far in the music world. The track will also feature Skylar Gray.

Along with that, Lupe Fiasco moments ago (literally) released his album cover art for ‘LASERS’, which replicates a certain art piece using lights to spell out the word (saying that, using lights kind of goes with the theme of being ‘lasers’ in the world). It’s not bad in my opinion, maybe more could have been done but keeping it simple and clean is usually the way to get round.
