Picture this: One of the classiest actors on Earth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and one of the sexiest actresses on Earth, Scarlett Johansson, both in a zombie/comedy style of movie? Produced by the person who wrote “Juno” and “Jennifer’s Body”? Like the sound of it? Well, the part about JGL and Scarlett anyways…

Based on the novel by S.G. Browne, “Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament” is in fact a romantic comedy type of read about dead guy Andy who is resurrected as a zombie, having to adapt to life as an Undead man in a society that hates him, which is always a pain in the ass.

It is reported via Pajiba that the duo Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson are both currently “loosely attached” to the project. Both are believing it to be awesome to do, just nothing has been signed just yet. Awesomely named Diablo Cody is set to produce and is keen on bringing the duo on board, to which I am also. The book is said to be superb and the script, which is now sent over to directors, hopefully can match its quality.
