A duet which sounds crazy but true, Shakira’s “Loca” features vocals from British MC Dizzee Rascal, course it can’t be that crazy since we’ve already seen Rascal collab with the likes of Florence And The Machine, Chase & Status and comedian James Corden.
Both artist conveniently had World Cup hits, so it kinda slowly starts to make sense these two would make a collab and make some chemistry happen. There isn’t much to the songs meaning; Shakira just telling it like it is, she’s loco/loca/crazy, and Dizzee agrees but still fancies her a bit, AND WHO WOULDN’T?
The song has been surfacing on the net before its official release (and can be downloaded here), and is the first single off of Shakira’s new album Sael El Sol (Sunrise). Yesterday she tweeted the artwork for the new record (image above), features her face all happy, but that’s no surprise really.

*UPDATE* Have a listen to Jon Van Dee’s remix of Shakira’s “Loca” sent to me via SoundCloud. Could be one for the clubbers, as this gives a more dance-track feel to this beat. Pretty class nonetheless. Be sure to checkout more work from this DJ, which we hope to hear more mixes in the future:
