So, there’s a class, at the University of Florida, that’s called “21st Century Skills in Starcraft”. How the hell do they justify that? Well…

These skills are fundamental in Starcraft and therefore make the game a highly effective environment for students to analyze and take action in complex situations. Computer and video games of all types have become a major part of today’s entertainment and technology worlds. Also, online education is an area of intense growth with many employers and professions using online courses and workshops for career development. This course synthesizes the three threads of 21st Century skill development, gaming, and online education into an innovative and experiential approach that encourages students to identify, learn, and practice crucial skills and apply and relate them to real-world situations.”

I mean, it sounds neat, but I’m not quite sure your ability to Zerg rush has much to do with doing well during a job interview. Perhaps the idea of resource management can apply to the “real world,” but it seems a bit of a stretch.

It gets better: it’s an honors course, and it’s entirely online. Who says the University of Florida isn’t a serious school?

Two things; 1. America, this is why majority of the world questions your intelligence. 2. Really? You serious? An honour degree in getting fat and addicted? Seriously why not just give a three-year degree on how to breathe, or to get really down with youths, just hire a douche to teach the art of weed, the high proceeded skills of holding it right, who to stand next to and smoke it so you look “cool”, and how the anxieties you try getting rid of by smoking the dumb shit take over you more and more to the point you piss your pants, cry, then take a photo of it and put it up as your Facebook profile pic captioning: “OMGWTFIPIZZMYSEL4VLEZ LOLOLMAOLOLO!1!!
