The “rapper” claims New York as his, that he owns the City that never sleeps…but unfortunately the City takes the term a little differently…

P Diddy plus Bad Boy Entertainment reportedly owe almost a million dollars to the city for illegally placing promotional posters around the city. A rep from the BBE has explained to the city that the $996,000 bill was paid years ago by a partnering company. Their claim is currently under review.

Money owed to the city reportedly results in the funding for schools and day care centers being cut.

“We are going to find these people,” the Finance Commissioner of New York City, David Frankel, explained to the New York Daily News. “We’re going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we’re going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets.”

Frankly, Diddy owes the world an apology for 1. butchering Notorious B.I.G.’s tracks, and 2. showing his face every now and then.
