The legendary rapper and music producer Dr. Dre has been sued by Paramount Recording Studios for $1,220,500 for breach of contract. The rapper, real name Andre Young, and his label Aftermath Entertainment, have been named in the lawsuit which says that they rented “recording studios and services” but never paid for them.

Court documents show that Dre promised to pay the money owed by July 13, but never did.

He does have his own studio right? Fair enough not everybody is invited to that one I guess (did you know he had a recording session with Justin Beiber? Why?). Nonetheless I’m sure it is something he can pay for, Em’s ‘Recovery’ proving something good money made, and all the more a better time for Dre to drop ‘Detox’, the dubbed ‘album that never is’…
