It is being reported in Deadline New York that Kevin Bacon (Death Sentence, Frost/Nixon) is in talks with Marvel and negotiating a possible role in the promising X-Men: First Class.

The role apparently in talks is set to be of a villain, what villain that could be however is unknown. If Kevin Bacon does sign on he will join the cast already made with James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Alice Eve (Emma Frost), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee) and the rumored Lucas Till (Havoc). Also Rosamund Pike (Moira McTaggert) and Amber Heard (Mystique) are heavily rumoured

We are still missing a Cyclops and Jean Grey, and judging by how this is following Bryan Singers Method, we won’t expect Angel and Iceman…or will we? Let us know what you think.
