So the news yesterday that got everyone talking was Lindsay Lohan is now serving 90 days (or roughly 3 months) in prison following her violating probation. Oh Lindz…she is also sent for 90 days in a drug rehab centre.

The distraught actress/singer/umm…what does she do now? Model? Either way, she bursted into tears before and after the rule was made. Beforehand Lindsay Lohan stood in court emotionall speaking: “As far as I knew, I was in compliance with my programs.”

“I wasn’t trying to get special treatment. I have to provide for myself. I have to work. Having said that, I did everything to balance my jobs and showing up. I’m not taking this as a joke. It’s my life. It’s my career. … I take responsibility for my actions. I’ve tried to do the best I can. It’s been such a long haul. I don’t want you to think that I don’t respect you.”

But Judge Marsha N. Revel made her decision, saying (whilst hugely coughing every now and then, woman take some Benilyn!) Lohan violated the terms of her probation, which stem from a 2007 drunk-driving case. The actress failed to attend alcohol-education classes. Revel also cited several instances from over the past few years, saying the actress lied about drinking and taking drugs.

“It’s like someone who cheats but doesn’t think it’s cheating if they don’t get caught” Revel spoke.

In a way, I kind of feel sad for her, not in the ‘oh no shes now going to jail’, but more the ‘oh now you realize how serious this stuff is? YOU BETTER!’
I mean its obvious to answering the whole ‘why’ questions: Why the drugs, why the recklessness, why hang around with Paris Hilton she’s like a stick balloon etc. But it was too much,? too young, too reckless, bad education, pride, vanity, too bad for her. Its actually a fair deal Lohan has gotten away with, most in her position would get 6 months at least. What she should hopefully do now is grow and stay humble. Not to absorb this like Paris Hilton did and seemingly “Convert” to a full Christian only to then 30 days later do the exact same thing she did before, but hopefully just be decent now. And maybe not crazy, and good enough to be around…screw it, I’ll take her.

Her “surrender” is set 20th July.
