Oprah teared up after announcing to her fans that her show would come to an end September of 2011. She expressed that she decided to end the show after much prayer and careful thought.

“I love this show, and I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye,” the 55-year-old said.

The show has been around for 25 years, so it will come as a huge shock to many fans. “Twenty-five years feels right in my bones, and it feels right in my spirit – it’s the perfect number, the exact right time,” she said.

At least we have around 10 more months to enjoy the show.
