Aaron Johnson, Anton Yelchin, Logan Lerman, Andrew Garfield, Jamie Bell. Those are the five In which Sony have shortened down to in their wishlist for the next Spider-Man, after taking their sweet ass time piling the rumours.

two out of three were rumoured for months to play the role of the web-slinging hero (Jamie Bell, Andrew Garfield), but it comes to a bit of a surprise with Aaron Johnson’s name, who his role in Kick Ass has even got him possibly in line to be the young cyclops in X-Men: First Class, is on the wishlist, whilst Logan Lerman is also an interesting candidate.

To your left, Logan Lerman. To your right, Aaron Johnson. Do they look alike?

The final big question: Who will just be Spider-Man? I will have to go with fellow Brit stars of Aaron Johnson and Jamie Bell. Aaron Johnson would likely be the best choice considering he did just play as Peter Parker practically in Kick Ass (only, “with no powers, comes no responsibility”) plus at 19, the high school role can still fit him nicely. It would possibly be hard to turn down as well the chance to be the most popular superhero known to mankind.
Jamie Bell, though 24 (25 when the film starts shooting) was the only decent thing in “Jumper”…along with Rachael Bilson…and has tons of experience under him.

All we know for sure though, the online petition to to get Donald Glover to be/audition as the next Spidey is all but demolished.

Thoughts?
