In an episode of VH1: Behind The Music, a show which I only guess is still going down in the US because the UK I don’t think VH1 exists anymore, and if it did, it’d show re-runs of The Hills, Season 2, or some rubbish, anyways…following rapper Eve, she told of how a certain rapper turned her away from stripping and into the rap scene.

That artists turned out to be former Bad Boy artist Mase, and Eve spoke on their first encounter at a strip club she worked at.

“He came into the club and looked at me and literally was like, ‘What’s your name?’ And I gave him every stripper name under the sun!,” Eve explained during the hour long docu-series. “I was like, ‘I’m Ginger, I’m Sassy!’ He was like, ‘Why don’t you go get dressed, let’s go just talk.’ And we did, we talked throughout the night. He was like, ‘You’re really talented. What are you doing? You know you’re not supposed to be here.”

Now if only Mase can decide whether he raps or stays religious…The episode premiered on 14th June, in which Eve also talks on her problems of the past which included drinking, depression, music career and more. She’s a strong character who’s gone through a lot and relatable and its worth a watch. Checkout the episode below and leave us your thoughts:
