Birdman firstly, is a stupid rap name, clearly only the cartoon character himself can and should be allowed the name solely because he was a pointless Space Ghost. Birdman in generally is pointless.
Nonetheless his video for his new track “Loyalty” premiered last night, and it features his crew from Young Money Records, Lil Wayne and Tyga.

The video is his first track off his next album, Bigger Than Life, which is scheduled for fall release. In the clip, the three rappers appear in front of digitized backdrops featuring Tyga’s native Los Angeles and Birdman and Wayne’s New Orleans along with their adopted city, Miami.
It features the typical style of rap you’d hear: “I got the tax on the bubble/ The money in the Hummer,” “We shined every summer/ So we swagged out/ Gucci down/ Louis down/ Put it down/ Uptown.” Yeah…

And Young Money familiars Drake and Mack Maine make their faces known in the video, just so we don’t forget them. Personally the one I’m more interested in is Tyga, who sings the chorus and has his own verse, but I’m kinda disappointed. If people know he is the cousin of Travis McCoy, I felt he honestly had stronger talent to provide rather than be around Young Money. I think his verse was probably the better, and of course, catchy chorus for the fans. Only time will tell however how far he can go, what he’ll say, and so on.
