Lil Kim’s flaming words seem to be spiraling everywhere, from Nicki Minaj, to Drake, to even P Diddy – where during a live event in Baltimore Lil Kim shouted “Ay, Puffy should be ashamed of his fuckin’ self!”, with regards to Diddy aligning himself with Nicki Minaj. Despite this, Diddy recently spoke of the situation in an interview with Tim Westwood on BBC Radio, making it clear that it’s still love between he and the Kim, but he’s not about to apologize for working with the budding Young Money star. Check it out below, if you can stand both their voices:
“I love Lil’ Kim,” said the Bad Boy CEO. “I’m sorry that she’s mad. I never would have thought that by me working with another artist that she would take it the wrong way. But if she’s taking it the wrong way, it ain’t meant like that. Nicki never did anything to her…she ain’t trying to swagger-jack or say nothing negative about her, and I just think that Kim needs to just understand that Nicki as a whole…has always been respectful of her and Nicki’s not trying to be her…we’re riding with Nicki and we’re still riding with Kim…that love ain’t never going to change no matter what she says or what she feels…[but] I ain’t gonna make no apologies for working with Nicki Minaj.”
The controversy surrounding the ‘Queen Bee’ Lil Kim, and the ‘Barbie’ Nicki Minaj began when Kim addressed Minaj’s style and music in a interview with Kendra G, saying, “…if you’re gonna swagger jack somebody and take their style, at least pay the respect and the homage.” Check out the related links below for more on the heated beef. As always, leave us your thoughts.
