It seems fairly recently a lot of groups, from genres of many, seem to have one person make the ambition to try out a solo project. Comes to no surprise then (or…does it?) That frontman of Gym Class Heroes Travie McCoy is set to release his solo album, “Lazarus”. Video below is his single released a few months back announcing the album, plus a few tour dates (which still nobody wants to come to the UK! whats with that?!)

I love this song, frankly though it could’ve just been a GCH titled song. Nonetheless if I wanted to emulate a certain rap artist, Travie McCoy would be, well, partly the dude. The guy deserves a better positive recognition, his lyrics are mixtures of smooth, realistic, ambitious with a hint of humour. This song ‘Billionaire’ got a easy nice flow to it, something worth boppin your head to and also even make you wonder: “What would you do with a Billion dollars?”
It also helps that Bruno “I can make your chorus sound amazing” Mars lends his voice which blends with the tune nicely, plus, it’d be the only thing people remember out of the song to sing along to (just ask B.O.B.)
