One of the great things about hip hop is when the artists come together (pause) in the spirit of music to make classic tracks. It’s all good hearing one artist on a track if they are talented, but sometimes the fans love to hear a couple of their favorite rappers working together. So I have put together a list of five hot mega collaborations. By mega I mean collaboration’s with four or more people on it.
Remember this is just opinion, so if you have some more mega collabo’s in mind then let us know in the comments.
In no order!
Busta Rhymes – Touch It Remix ft: Mary J Blige + Rah Digga + Missy Eliot + Lloyd Banks + DMX + Papoose
This was a summer banger a few years back. There was an MP3 version which had even more artists on there, but of course for the music video they had to knock it down. To this day I am trying to decide who came nicer; Papoose, Bank$ or DMX?
DJ Kay Slay presents Rolling 25 Deep Featuring: Jae Millz + J.R Writer + Papoose + Murda Mook + Mad niggas
There is nothing more gully than 25 gangsta rappers going in on a track hard body. My personal favorite on this track was Murda Mook. There is a Rolling 25 Deep part 2, which dropped recently. However it’s no where near as classic as this first one.
The Lox + Lil Kim + DMX – Money Power Respect
90′s Hip Hop FTW, enough said.
Sway & Tech – The Anthem featuring Eminem + Xzibit + RZA + Chino XL
A classic track from Sway and Tech, everyone on this track killed it. This was back when I listened to nothing but Eminem, so you can bet I had this in heavy rotation.
Fabolous – This Is Family featuring: Ransom + Freck Billionaire + Joe Budden + Paul Cain + Red Cafe
The reason I always look forward to Fabolous’s mixtapes are because I know they’ll always be tracks with the Street Fam going in. There isn’t one person in the “street fi di di dam” that I dislike.
