I myself, deliberately stopped posting Kanye West news due to the fact that his ego after “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” just rose up again and the quality of that album wasn’t as well as expected. Also, H.A.M. put me off hugely. But the fact Watch The Throne was finally released Monday (which I feel at some point there will be a review here on The Epic Network), we have been following what we can prior to its release, to which unfortunately led us to this: Kanye West and one of his pointless rants. Performing at the UK’s Big Chill Festival, the Chicago based rapper went all slit-wrist feeling towards the crowd, giving off one of his ‘signature’ rants…

He went on to explain that crowds of people look at him like “I’m fucking insane, like I’m Hitler.” He then told the crowd one day people will rise to him and pay him the respect he finally deserves. Sure.

He went to say: “People look at me like I’m fucking insane, like I’m Hitler. But one day, one day a light will shine through. And one day people will understand everything I ever did, ever said, [...] for the sake of someone else,” he said. “For the sake of people. For the sake of New Orleans, for the sake of honest music, for the sake of honest judgment.”

Carrying on, Kanye West suggested himself similar to that of Michael Jordan in basketball, further noting to say: “Michael Jordan changed so much in basketball, he took his power to make a difference. It’s so much f**king going on in music right now and somebody has to make a f**king difference.”

“This is about inspiration, this is about dreams. All the money I had when I was in high school, I put it back into working on music,” he said. “My dream was to be able to do this one day. So even to this day, everything I have, I put back into this. ‘Cause you can’t keep that when you’re gone, but your legacy will live on. And one day, one day your light will shine through. One day, the mask will be revealed and you’ll see the truth is coming from the people that the powers that be tried to kill.”
