The First sort of visuals for the newest Muppets movie has arrived with an interesting approach. It did not happen for us in the UK, but for the US public that went on to see “Pirates Of The Caribbean”: On Stranger Tides” in their cinema may have seen a fake trailer of a fake movie within the real trailer o the…real…movie. The fake movie, titled “Green With Envy”, also boasted a fake movie poster you see below…

Eventually, the Muppets are revealed in what actually looks like a enjoyable movie for those fans of the hand puppets. Whilst the fake trailer tells a cliche story of over the top dramatic rom-com, the actual Muppets focus of the story is Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Segel) and Mary (Adams), Together, they discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.

The film stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and many, many more. Directed by James Bobin with a script by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller, this movie is set for 23rd November this year. Let us know what you think of the teaser below:
