With the news of gaming icon Lara Croft of the “Tomb Raider” series getting the reboot treatment and getting its ‘Origins’ as well as a majority of other movies, the rumour mill would now start rolling even though the people over at GK Film have a whole year to truly bring the elements of the adventurous female to fan-pleasing form.
Still begs the question however on what actress of this decade can actually fill the err…’cosplay’ of Lara Croft, something in which Angelina Jolie herself perfected so very well. With the story taken back to the beginning where Lara’s interest in ancient artifacts began, the studio will no doubt be looking for a female that is young, accompanied by being able to hold her own in action sequences and stamina in general. This of course does not stop even the slightly ‘well trained’ and ‘experienced’ actresses to step in and strap up their boots.
