The Official DC Universe Online fan page has posted a new trailer and screenshots. The trailer released today give us an insight into the Metropolis Police Department. The Police Department serves as a major setting in the game which will be one of the safe houses for your hero. The MPD is a great place in the game to get information and exchange goods (with other players I assume). The MPD also allows gamers to buy items as well as transport to the next mission. One thing that will have players going back to the MPD is the ability to interact with wanted posters. If you interact with a wanted poster you can find out more information about a villain and where to locate them. However, it’s not only villains that you can find out about in the MPD you can find out more about heroes you want to find.
The Official Fan Page has presented us with new screenshots for the game which we have below. The screenshots look impressive and have changed my mind about getting the game. Whether you’re a fan or not you have to admit those visuals are good. The character customisation is above what I had previously seen. When I first saw those screens I just wanted to jump in the beta and fight bad guys, but since I’m not in the beta I guess I will have to wait until next year.
